JFG Middle
Just for Girls has a program tailored especially for your daughter. Our programming focuses on the needs of adolescent girls. Girls in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade may be eligible to be a part of our specialized program.
JFG Middle curriculum includes comprehensive prevention, redirection, and resilience practices designed to promote empathy, responsibility, compassion, and goal achievement. At JFG Middle, girls turn F’s into A’s and become the leaders and mentors they are meant to be.
As part of the Manatee County school system, all classroom instruction meets the Florida State Standards.
Highlights
2022-2023 Academic Growth
6th grade – one year and six months growth in reading (from 3.3 to 4.9).
7th grade – four months of growth in 4 months (from 3.6 to 4.0).
8th grade – one year and nine months of growth in reading. Improvement on Self-Esteem Index from 60% to 90%. Pregnancy Prevention: Increase in knowledge and attitudes from 46% to 87%.
